Britpop band Embrace will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2004 album Out Of Nothing by playing the entire record from start to finish, followed by other big hits from their back catalogue.
The 11-date tour will kick off in Newcastle before coming to London on the 29th November - just one day before their closing show in Birmingham.
Out Of Nothing was actually their fourth release after The Good Will Out, Drawn from Memory and If You've Never Been, and came straight after they were dropped by their record label. But they bounced back superbly with the singles Ashes and Gravity - given to them by their friend Chris Martin from Coldplay - and saw the album hit the top spot in the UK album chart.
"It was such a key moment in the life of the band," explained frontman Danny McNamara. "We took day jobs to keep going, we had no choice, but we believed in ourselves, and we believed in the songs we were writing. We've waited 20 years to celebrate the record... and now's the time!"
