1st-2nd Nov - Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

6 PM (1st); 4 PM (2nd); From £5.50 - The Fireworks Festival at Alexandra Palace is always lots of fun because as well as the big blazing bonfire and fireworks you can also enjoy a spectacular drone show, some family fairground rides like the dodgems, waltzers and trusty teacups, live sets from some of the country's top DJs, and the UK's largest bier festival with lots of lederhosen and boistrous Oompah bands.

2nd Nov - Morden Park Fireworks

6.45 PM & 8.30 PM; From £11 - Morden Park Fireworks are set inside a natural bowl giving everyone a great view of the display. They always put on two different shows: an early one for the little kids who might not like the loud bangs of the main display, and a bigger show later for the grown-ups. There's also a funfair and food village.

2nd Nov - Beckenham Fireworks

6 PM & 7.45 PM - Beckenham Fireworks have two different displays as well: an early one with smaller bangs aimed at families with little kids, and a main display later in the evening. They also have a funfair and around 20 food and drink stalls selling everything from hot dogs, burgers and steak sandwiches to jerk chicken, pancakes and pizza.

2nd Nov - Dulwich Sports Club Fireworks

7 PM; From £11.50 - Dulwich Sports Club will be hosting a family-orientated fireworks display. Things will kick off at 5.30 PM with some live music aimed mainly at the kids, and the fireworks will be lit at 7 PM. There will also be plenty of food and drink stalls selling BBQ food, burgers, pizzas, mulled wine, real ale and soft drinks.

Note: Tickets should be bought from the sports club in advance, because there won't be any available on the night.

2nd Nov - Kempton Park Fireworks

7.30 PM; From £10 - Kempton Park Racecourse always puts on one of the biggest and best displays with fireworks exploding to a soundtrack of popular tunes. They also have a big funfair with exciting rides, live DJ sets, and lots of stalls selling seasonal food and drinks.

2nd-3rd Nov - Battersea Park Fireworks

Battersea Park Fireworks is a big display by the river. Saturday is the best one with a big bonfire and fireworks display, whilst Sunday is usually reserved for families with little kids.

There are plenty of food and drink stalls selling hot chocolate, mulled wine and winter comfort food like hot dogs, burgers and fries, or you can head out and explore the new bars and restaurants around the redeveloped Battersea Power Station.

3rd Nov - Richmond Athletic Ground Fireworks

5.45 PM - Richmond Athletic Ground Fireworks is aimed at all ages with some pre-show entertainment on the pitch, a funfair, a fully licensed bar and stalls selling hamburgers, hot dogs, churros, crepes and donuts, and a firework display choreographed to popular tunes.

5th Nov - Wimbledon Park Fireworks

6.45 PM & 8.30 PM; From £11 - Wimbledon Park Fireworks have two different displays: an early evening one for the families with little kids who might freak out at the bigger bangs, and a larger display later for the adults. There's also a funfair and lots of street food stalls.

5th Nov - Coram's Fields Fireworks

3.30 PM to 7 PM - Coram's Fields is a special display because it's aimed squarely at the kids (hence the early time).

There'll be some easy funfair rides, some live performances by local school children, and an 18-minute fireworks display that shoudn't frighten the little ones.

9th Nov - Harrow Fireworks Display

7.30 PM; From £6 - Harrow's Byron Park are having their display on the Saturday following Guy Fawkes Night so they can combine it with Diwali - the Hindu festival of lights.

The 20-minute display will be set to music and there'll also be a big funfair with exciting rides, face painting for the kids, and a food court with drink stalls.
