Over half-a-million people are expected to celebrate the start of 2025 at London's spectacular New Year's Day Parade.
Parade from Piccadilly to Parliament Square
The parade begins at 12 noon at the Green Park-end of Piccadilly before moving past the grandstands to Piccadilly Circus. It will then head down Lower Regent Street and Pall Mall and the south-side of Trafalgar Square to Whitehall, stopping just short of Parliament Square.
Big TV screens will be set up in Piccadilly Circus, Waterloo Place, south of Trafalgar Square, and just past Downing Street, so everyone can watch what's happening along the entire parade route.
Decorated floats and marching bands
The parade will feature over 10,000 performers from the UK, USA, Europe and beyond. As the parade winds its way through the streets you'll see everything from acrobats, cheerleaders and marching bands to historic British vehicles, motorcycle stunt riders, the famous Pearly Kings and Queens and even some lion and dragon dancers from London's Chinatown.
Watch from the street or sit in the grandstand
You can stand in the street for free or buy yourself a ticket in one of the seated grandstands. See their website for details.
Three of the grandstands will be located in Piccadilly and there'll be another couple in Whitehall. As well as treating you to a fantastic view you'll also get a flag to wave around and a complimentary program with the running order.
