Stairs, lifts and escalators

Tottenham Hale is wheelchair accessible, and has step-free access from the street to the train. West Hampstead is not wheelchair accessible

Tottenham Hale entrance – The Station Road/​bus station entrance and the booking hall is on the level, but you’ll have to use three flights of stairs from the Ferry Lane northside entrance (4 steps down +9 steps down +7 steps up), or four flights from the Ferry Lane southside entrance (10 steps down +14 steps down +14 steps up +5 steps up). After that there’s a lift down to the platforms. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use an escalator or seven flights of stairs (3 steps down +5x17 steps down +11 steps down)

Changing trains at Green Park – There are two lifts and a long walk when changing platforms. If you want a shorter walk then you can use two escalators instead of the lifts

West Hampstead exit – You must use two flights of stairs between the platforms and the exit (16 steps up +15 steps up)
