Take your little kids on a trip through the British Library's collection, because it's not all books you know! They also have lots of ancient objects, colourful artworks and surprising sounds... oh, and a giant furry octopus.

As you explore three imaginary worlds - a jungle, outer space, and the ocean floor - you'll follow a fun activity trail with Daisy the cat, playing with interactive exhibits, and hearing some wondrous stories about their weird and wonderful objects.

As you explore the jungle you'll discover a whole menagerie of creatures in a shadow puppet show from Indonesia, see drawings of extinct birds and hieroglyphic animals carved onto an Ancient Egyptian tablet, and peer into a microscopic image of a dung beetle.

Then it's onto the space zone where you'll see the first-ever photographs of the moon, step into a giant model of the moon itself, and then gaze through a telescope at a beautiful night sky.

In the ocean zone you'll see imaginative illustrations of the sea's most mysterious creatures, hear some whales singing, and marvel at a piece of luminescent coral from the Great Barrier Reef.. before coming face-to-face with a giant octopus!

Note: The exhibition is aimed at children aged 2-9.
