65 million years ago dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Thirty years ago Jurassic Park ruled the box office. Now get ready to Hold On To Your Butts because this summer the big hit from the Edinburgh Fringe is roaring into the West End!
Named after Samuel L Jackson's iconic line from the movie, Nick Abeel's tour-de-force comedy is a shot-for-shot parody of the greatest dinosaur film of all time.
The show is charmingly low-tech, with two guys playing all the parts (including the dinosaurs) while a lady sits off-stage providing all the sound effects... so it's basically the complete opposite of the CGI-filled movie. If you haven't seen the movie in a while then take our advice and watch it beforehand, otherwise you're going to miss a lot of the laughs.
What the theatre critics say...
The Times: ★★★★ "A funny, head-spinning Jurassic Park parody"; Time Out: "Painfully funny... made us cry actual tears of laughter... a pure joy from start to finish"
