Based on Josephine Tey's classic crime novel, The Daughter Of Time explores a cold case being investigated by Inspector Alan Grant as he's laid up in hospital. But this is a very old cold case - the murder of the Princes in the Tower by Richard III.
What begins as a simple distraction while he recuperates in bed quickly morphs into something more as he tangles with two opinionated nurses, two scheming Shakespearean actors, a lovesick historical researcher, and his own sceptical deputy.
Will he be able to solve one of history's most famous cases and succeed where many have failed? Or will he solve the mystery of his own heart instead?
Josephine Tey's award-winning story is an irresistable mix of history, myth, romance and comic disaster.
