Starring Ncuti Gatwa as Christopher Marlowe and Edward Bluemel as William Shakespeare, Born With Teeth imagines a series of secret meetings between the two most famous playwrights of their day.

Set in the winter of 1591 when Tudor London was rife with religious persecution, political unrest and deadly paranoia, the two brilliant young writers are forced to work together in the shadowy backroom of a pub.

Christopher Marlowe is a bold but reckless state-employed spy, whereas Shakespeare is still a newcomer who has everything to prove.

Across three secret meetings they circle each other in a heady mix of rivalry and creative fervor, sharpening their pens in a game of wits, and using words as weapons to test each other's personal, political and poetic boundaries.

With spies everywhere betrayal is so tempting, and they're soon duelling like their lives depend on it. Their collaboration could either make their legends... or cost them their lives!
