Hollywood star Ewan McGregor will be appearing in American novelist Lila Raicek's new play inspired by Ibsen's 1892 classic - My Master Builder.

Set in the summer resort of the Hamptons on the 4th July, the mega-rich publishing magnate Elena Solness is about to throw a party to celebrate her husband's latest architectural masterpiece. But their delicate marriage is shattered by the unexpected arrival of Mathilde, one of Henry's former students who says he propositioned her in the past.

As the uncomfortable evening unfolds their vulnerabilities are laid bare, and they approach a reckoning that threatens to tilt the axis of their lives forever.

An all-star cast with Ewan McGregor

My Master Builder marks Ewan McGregor's return to the West End stage for the first time in seventeen years. During his thirty year career he's appeared in everything from Star Wars and Trainspotting to Moulin Rouge, racking up 52 award nominations and 29 wins, including a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe.

Elizabeth Debicki has appeared in Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy and Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, but is probably best-known for the role of Princess Diana in TV's The Crown.
