Are your kids mad about dinosaurs? Then how about treating them to an out-of-hours guided tour of the Dinosaurs Gallery at the Natural History Museum?

After meeting your knowledgeable guide at the museum's entrance you'll head straight for the Dinosaurs Gallery one hour before it opens to the public, where they'll introduce you to the main exhibits.

Highlights include part of the first Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton ever discovered, a skeleton of the huge herbivore Iguanodon, the skull of a plant-eating Triceratops, and the impressive armoured skeleton of a Scolosaurus.

Along the way you'll learn how dinosaurs were first discovered, what they really looked like, how they adapted to life on Earth, and why the giant sauropods didn't fight each other for food.

At the tail end of the tour your guide will give everyone a chance to ask some questions, before leaving you free to explore the rest of the museum at your own leisure.

Note: Due to the nature of the content the recommended minimum age for this tour is 11 years old.
