Join the Piccadilly Sinfonietta for an atmospheric candlelit concert at St. Mary-le-Strand church, during which they will perform Bach's Violin Concerto in E Major, Air on a G String and Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor, alongside Vivaldi's Violin Concerto in G minor and Double Violin Concerto in A Minor.

The 18th-century church stands opposite Somerset House and is known as the 'Jewel in the Strand'. It was once surrounded by traffic but the area has recently been pedestrianised and turned into a peaceful sanctuary of gardens, trees and pavement cafes.

Laura Rickard & The Piccadilly Sinfonietta

Led by its founder Warren Mailley-Smith, the Piccadilly Sinfonietta has become a regular on the UK concert scene, performing in some of the country's most beautiful venues alongside leading virtuoso soloists. Their repertoire includes early romantic and baroque, the complete cycle of Beethoven's Piano Concertos, and Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

For tonight's show they will be joined by violinist Laura Rickard.
