The 18th-century church is known as the 'Jewel in the Strand' and was once surrounded by traffic, but the area outside Somerset House has now been pedestrianised and turned into a peaceful sanctuary of gardens, trees and pavement cafes.

Daniel Grimwood has built his international reputation playing works from the 19th-century, and his repertoire encompasses everyone from Rubinstein and Bach to Chopin and Liszt.
