Featuring a ‘barnstorming performance’ (Financial Times) from Stephen Kunken (The Handmaid’s Tale), Kyoto sees Olivier award-winning directors Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin (Stranger Things: The First Shadow) reunite with Good Chance's Artistic Directors and playwrights Joe Murphy and Joe Robertson (The Jungle), for this sharp, searing and darkly comic story of the moment all nations tried to set aside their differences for the sake of the planet.
The compelling play seats you at the heart of the action, and shows that even in a climate of rapidly rising temperatures, the impossible really can become possible. Great performances but all terribly depressing in the age of Trump
A brilliant performance. The stage works really well, the actors were fab - really drawing the audience in. A great experience for my teenage son who would love to work for the UN!

This was a superbly written and very powerful play. The acting was outstanding as was the whole production.
We went to see Kyoto last night at Soho Place and we loved it, a brilliantly produced piece performed with incredible rhythm. It's not easy to get crowds excited about a climate summit that took place 28 years ago and yet it's a successful bet. Highly recommend it.
Most enjoyable and terrific production
Great play! Who would have thought that people arguing over commas can be so exciting!
@sohoplace is a great theatre venue in its own right: very accessible, good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The play itself was excellent, thought provoking and very well executed. Cast and crew did a stella job of making you feel part of the experience and it really gave an insight to the machinations and hidden agendas of the whole process.
